Two capable teachers for the upper grades at Grønnemose School

Come and make a difference in children's everyday life … become a teacher at Grønnemose School.

We are looking for two capable teachers to teach in some of the following subjects: mathematics, Danish, English, nature/technology, home economics and crafts/design with appointment as soon as possible or no later than 1 December 2026.

The two vacancies are for 5th and 6th grade.

We are working to create coherence and continuity in the students' school progression, therefore it would be advantageous if you have an interest in following the students through a longer period.

At Grønnemose School we focus on creating opportunities for all children to succeed. Therefore we work purposefully and systematically with “Participation Opportunities for All,” where resources to strengthen the individual child’s learning and well-being are allocated to the year group team, so that the team can plan the teaching based on the needs of the students and the community.

From next school year the council in Gladsaxe Municipality has allocated 55 million to a marked lift of the public schools. This means that there will be two teachers in all classes in 1st-3rd grade, which will have a spillover effect on the rest of the school progression, where there will be more teachers in more hours.

In Gladsaxe Municipality we emphasize giving a good start to employment. Therefore both newly qualified and new teachers are assigned a mentor.

Newly qualified teachers also have 80 hours reduced from their teaching timetable in the first year.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Please note that a child and a public criminal record check will be obtained upon hire in Gladsaxe municipality.
