About the job

Do you want to help fulfill the council's ambitions to make Solrød the best educational municipality and to ensure the education of the future social and health care professionals?

In Solrød Municipality we work purposefully to create good educational pathways for pupils and students. We are seeking an education consultant who will play a central role in the work with our social- and health care helper students (SSH) and social- and health care assistant students (SSA). You will work closely with the municipality's education team and with managers and internship supervisors in the elderly and health areas. At the same time, you will be responsible for coordinating nursing students and contribute to developing collaboration around pupils and students across the municipality.

Your tasks

Your primary area of work will be the SOSU students, where you follow the students through the entire education program.

Your main tasks are to

  • Plan and implement recruitment and hiring of SSH and SSA students.
  • Coordinate the students' training across the municipality's training sites.
  • Prepare training agreements and ensure correct administration of student programs.
  • Carry out managerial tasks in relation to SOSU students, including follow-up discussions about absence, wellbeing, assessment during probation, etc.
  • Be a close sparring partner for managers and internship supervisors in the elderly care area, including contributing to the development of attractive learning environments for the students and supporting the ongoing competence development of the mentors.
  • Support the students' wellbeing, learning and completion of the education.
  • Ensure close collaboration with the SOSU school, supervisors, internship places and other partners.
  • Be responsible for planning and teaching SOSU students in Solrød Municipality's learning cafe 1-2 times per month.
  • Coordinate internship programs for nursing students.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a relevant educational background, e.g., a medium-length health or social welfare education or an academic degree with a focus on the health field.
  • Has experience with or extensive knowledge of SOSU educations and the frameworks that apply to education of SSH- and SSA-students.
  • Has experience with the education sector, preferably from a municipal or regional context.
  • Understands the challenges and opportunities that managers, supervisors and students encounter in practice.
  • Is good at building relationships and collaborating across professional groups.
  • Thrives with both coordination, administration and development tasks.
  • Can work independently and create overview in complex processes.

It is a prerequisite that you can translate your knowledge of SOSU education into practice and actively contribute to improving the quality of the students' education programs.

The Council expects in 2027 to adopt a new cross-cutting education strategy. You must therefore be prepared to participate in the continued development of the area, including contributing to ongoing adjustments of the work with pupils and students and help strengthen cross-cutting collaboration on pupils and students across the municipality.
