At Thisted Marine Center we are busy with service and sale of boats, engines and equipment. We therefore seek a fully trained mechanic for a full-time position , who wants a versatile everyday life. The position combines practical mechanic work with administrative tasks in connection with daily operations as well as purchasing and selling.

The vast majority of the tasks take place at our fixed address on Østerbakken.

Knowledge of the marine industry is not a prerequisite . The most important is that you are a qualified mechanic (e.g. in the automotive, agricultural, or marine sector) and have a natural interest in working with boats.

Your primary tasks

· Mechanical work: Servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of boats as well as engines.

· Preparation: Installation of equipment on new and used boats.

· Purchasing, selling and administration: Creation and updating of boats on our website.

· Customer contact: Receiving boats for sale, completing consignment agreements and ongoing dialogue with customers.

· Daily operations: Ongoing work at the address, ensuring a presentable and structured workshop and shop.

· Are a qualified mechanic: It can be within automotive, agricultural, or marine fields – the crucial part is your high professional pride.

· Are digitally and administratively inclined: You have a flair for IT and communicate flawlessly in writing, as you will formulate sales texts and handle customer papers.

· Work independently: You can structure your own time in a day with varying tasks.

· Are service-minded and reliable: You are the outward-facing person and greet both customers and colleagues with a smile.
