What can a small moment mean?

We are looking for a new colleague for our kindergarten department. Here you will walk your daily round and at the same time be part of the community in the entire Børnehuset Paletten.

For us it matters how we meet the children – both when we immerse in a play, help with a difficult transition or give time to a short story. We are looking for you who want to be a present adult and create security, well-being and development together with us.

At Paletten you meet wonderful children and engaged adults who place emphasis on calm, care and safe relationships. We would like to create a everyday life where the children feel that they belong, and where we as colleagues are there for each other.

Our professional basis is secure attachment, play and relationships at child height. We are curious about how the world looks from the children's perspective, and what they need from us. We use ICDP as a common tool and are inspired by Tea Thyrre Sørensens attachment-based and neuropsychological relational pedagogy. This means we work with trust-building interactions and support the children in self-regulation through play and presence.

We hope to meet you who meet children with calm, warmth and genuine interest. You who give space to curiosity and courage to try something new – and help each child find their place in the community.

You have an eye for both the individual child and the group of children and know that secure relationships are the foundation for well-being and development. Together with us you will create learning environments where children feel seen, met and acknowledged.

You are also very welcome as a new graduate.

We are curious about the knowledge and perspectives you bring, and you don\'t need to know all our professional approaches beforehand. With us there is room to ask questions, seek sparring and develop your practice together with colleagues and management.
