Instructor for the Technical Designer education, specialization Construction and Civil Engineering

Building designer/structural engineer/architect/technical designer with the ability to communicate sought!

You are passionate about teaching others and have experience in technical design. You have insight into several of the core areas of the program, e.g., construction, drawing, calculation, illustration and planning. You want to work in an educational environment and have solid knowledge of the construction and civil engineering sector. If you have additional knowledge of some of the new subjects in the program, such as VR/AR, sustainability, digital twins, 3D scanning and 3D printing.

Qualifications

You have experience in several of the core areas of technical design and are up to date with the tools used in the industries. Perhaps you have taught before, or you have a strong desire to convey your knowledge and make the education as exciting and reality-based as possible. Experience with BIM, sustainable construction and Revit is highly valued.

Person profile

You have experience teaching in the program. You are academically well-grounded and have an appreciation for the diversity within technical design. You are passionate about motivating and communicating. You have a positive approach to new tasks, and enjoy teaching, but also acquiring knowledge yourself. You should be able to work both independently and with other teachers. You are outgoing and a team player.

Job profile

You will become part of an exciting and active educational environment where you will develop, plan and conduct the teaching together with the other teachers. You are expected to actively help ensure coherence in the education and contribute to the teaching reflecting the industry’s tasks and trends.

You may also help our school apprenticeship students with tasks, guidance and contact with the business sector.

Versatile professional experience and up-to-date knowledge in the program’s subject areas are given high priority.

It is an advantage if you already have a vocational pedagogical education; otherwise you should be ready to undertake a vocational-pedagogical diploma education.

Employment terms

We can offer employment on pension-adjacent terms on a base salary, seniority level 1 - 7. There may be scope for negotiation of allowances. An attractive pension scheme is attached to the position.

Start

The position is a permanent appointment with start 01.01.2027.
