About the job

Unskilled workers and weekend substitutes for Mågebakkegruppen

Do you want a meaningful leisure job, a study-relevant job, or the perfect gap year job?

Due to a large influx of citizens, we are seeking unskilled workers and weekend substitutes for Mågebakkegruppen who want to make a difference for elderly citizens in their own homes.

The position is ideal for you who are taking a gap year, are in education, or simply want a flexible job beside studies, family or other work. You do not need experience in the care sector. The most important is that you want to work with people, can take responsibility and thrive in a daily life where the pace can sometimes be high.

With us you will be part of an outlying home care group that covers Skt. Klemens, Højby, Sanderum, Dalum, Bellinge and Dyrup. Every day we help citizens create a safe and good daily life in their own homes, and here you get the opportunity to make a visible difference.

A job with responsibility, relationships and meaning

As a substitute in Mågebakkegruppen you come close to people. You become an important part of the citizens' daily life and have the opportunity to create relationships, security and good experiences.

You are often the smile the citizen meets first thing in the day, and the help that makes daily life function. Therefore we look for staff who meet citizens with respect, presence and care.

We know that no one can know everything from day one. Therefore we ensure you receive a thorough introduction and training so you feel well equipped for the task.

What can you look forward to with us?

We want you to have a good start and become part of the community from day one. Therefore we offer:

  • An individually tailored introduction program
  • Experienced colleagues who help you get started
  • Flexible working hours and the option of a variable number of hours
  • A strong social community with room for everyone
  • Relevant experience for those considering a future in health, care or pedagogy
  • A workplace focused on well-being, respect and collaboration
  • A large degree of independence and responsibility in daily life

Your tasks

As a substitute with us you will, among other things

  • Help citizens with personal care
  • Support citizens in their daily tasks
  • Contribute to safety and quality of life in citizens' homes
  • Help with practical tasks
  • Observe citizens' well-being and relay relevant information to colleagues
  • Be an active part of a strong team

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who

  • Is at least 18 years old
  • Wants to work with people
  • Can work independently and take responsibility
  • Thrives in a daily life with many balls in the air
  • Has a positive attitude towards both citizens and colleagues
  • Is reliable and flexible
  • Wants to learn new things and develop yourself

If you are a student, taking a gap year or seeking experience in the health and care sector, we see it as an advantage, but everyone is welcome to apply.

Salary and employment terms

  • Optional hours by agreement, but a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Opportunity for both weekend shifts and weekday shifts up to 37 hours per week
  • Work takes place by bike and by car
  • Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement
