About the job

Can you work independently? Are you adaptable and flexible?

Are you keen to be part of a dedicated and professionally grounded night team?

The night shift team at Lunden is looking for a care assistant - preferably with social-pedagogical or health-care experience.

The position is 30 hours per week with the possibility to increase to 37 hours by taking day/evening shifts in the opposite week.

You work 7-7, and the working hours are planned with shifts every 2 weeks. The position starts January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible.

We place the citizen at the centre and work from a citizen-centered perspective, emphasizing:

  • Health
  • Well-being
  • Employment
  • Independence
  • Presence
  • Relationships

The citizens – whom we call guests – live with their families and come for respite care at Lunden. They are children, youths and adults with significant and permanent reduced function, and they need help and guidance regarding personal care as well as practical and personal matters, as well as support to engage in social relationships. Most guests need help with personal care and several are dependent on aids.

Lunden has 16 respite places spread over two departments and offers respite care to about 80 families. The guests are aged 3 - 60 years.

The night staffing ratio is 1:8, as well as nights with special arrangements at 1:1.

You join a night shift team, where there are always a minimum of two on duty.

As a night shift worker at Lunden you will experience a dynamic everyday life, where the guest group changes almost every day. It is therefore expected that you are adaptable and flexible.

Your primary tasks at night are to supervise the guests and help them to a good night's sleep as well as help them up and out in the mornings.

We have a close collaboration with day- and evening staff as well as relatives, and we document daily in Nexus.

We work rehabilitatively, in an appreciative and structured manner. Ongoing follow-up takes place in collaboration with colleagues at staff meetings in accordance with the annual cycle.

We are looking for a colleague who personally and professionally wants to contribute to the above.

Lunden is located at Lundegårdsvej 1 in Årslev.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

For more information about the position, please contact department head Sandie Halkjær 72 53 68 76 (weekdays between 8.00-16.00)

Application deadline: Sunday, November 11, 2026
