Vacant position as DUS and school pedagogue at Vestbjerg School from January 1, 2027. The position is 32 weekly hours

We are looking for a new colleague for Vestbjerg School and DUS. A pedagogue who is among the best in their field and who is passionate about making a difference for children and young people.

Vestbjerg School is situated "on top" of Vestbjerg bordering Hammer Bakker in picturesque surroundings. The school has around 500 students in the main school, 40 students in our Focus Class offering and an after-school program (DUS arrangement) with about 260 children. We have around 85 staff.

The school is UNICEF certified Rights Respecting School, and we are focused on consolidating ourselves as a Rights Respecting School so that the values become more than words.

The position is 32 hours per week, which in this school year is primarily attached to the team around the 0th grade. In addition, the position includes tasks in DUS 1, which is an after-school program for children from 0th through to and including 2nd grade. The position includes a minimum of one morning shift in DUS.

In DUS we work with inclusion and shared responsibility of the children when we plan activities. We place a strong emphasis on offering a wide range of activities that also support good communities and create participation opportunities for all children.

We are looking for a pedagogue who

• has completed a pedagogical education, preferably with experience from school and DUS
• can plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical activities theoretically both indoors and outdoors
• is flexible and good at collaborating both in the class team, DUS team and with parents and external partners
• can handle sudden changes, be flexible and maintain an overview in a busy daily life
• is robust and skilled in relational work
• has a positive and appreciative approach to children, parents and colleagues and uses this actively in daily life
• can see themselves working from Vestbjerg School's view of children: "All children do well if they can"
