Vamdrup School is looking for a teacher for the middle grades

Are you passionate about the Danish subject, good relationships, and children's academic and personal development? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for!

We are seeking an engaged Danish teacher for the middle grades to start January 1, 2027. Danish is the central subject in the position, while the other subject combination is not decisive, although it will not be held against you if you could teach in one or more of the following subjects: Nature and Technology, music or German. We are looking for a teacher who is keen to create a school day where pupils thrive, learn and develop.

In the middle grades we have an important task to strengthen students' love of reading, reading comprehension, writing skills and desire to use language. We therefore seek a Danish teacher who can combine academic ambitions with strong relationships and an eye for the individual student.

How do we work?

With initial inspiration from Brønshøj School, we have now for well over a year and a half worked from a model we call Collective Responsibility . We are organized in year-group teams, where you have virtually all your lessons and tasks. In close collaboration with the other staff in the team and with management close at hand, we strive that all our pupils experience becoming more skilled in safe surroundings created by familiar adults.

You may be a recent graduate or experienced. The most important thing is that you are passionate about the Danish subject, want to work with children in the middle grades, and want to help create a good school for them.
