We are looking for 2 Mestringsvejledere for permanent positions at the Mestringscenteret, Vesthimmerlands Municipality.

The Mastery Center is a municipal social-psychiatric service that collaborates with adult citizens (18+) with mental disorders, acquired brain injury, autism, substance misuse and permanent physical or mental functional impairments.

We offer individual and group support under §§85, 82, 99. The support is based on Recovery Oriented Rehabilitation . We collaborate in interdisciplinary teams with social educators, occupational therapists, physiotherapist, SSA staff. In all larger towns in Vesthimmerlands Municipality we have a network cafe to which each team can be attached.

Our vision for the area is to deliver coherent and holistic pathways in collaboration with citizens, to create everyday life with their own mastery, independence and influence on their own life. We want to be leading in the use of welfare-technological solutions to benefit the citizens.

The core task at the Mastery Center is to deliver support to citizens based on the citizen’s own wishes, hopes and perspectives for their lives. We provide services such as internal visitation or authority clarification, assessment and ordering in collaboration with the citizens. We set clear goals together with the citizen that support the citizen’s competencies, own mastery and independence in daily life.

Our goal is in collaboration with the citizen to develop the citizen’s qualities such as handling, mastery and independence, including involvement of relevant networks.

We collaborate with the citizens to reach the goals using different professional methods and support forms. This includes, among other things, virtual support, telephone support or physical presence in the cafes or in the citizen’s own home.

As a mastery counselor you will

• Support citizens in developing or maintaining their functional level through individually tailored interventions and based on the citizen’s own wishes and goals.
• Apply methods and approaches for citizens with autism spectrum disorders, Recovery Oriented Rehabilitation, neuro-pedagogy, KRAP with focus on promoting the citizen’s own mastery of everyday life.
• Collaborate closely and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team of committed colleagues.
• Holistic collaboration with the citizen and among other actors within psychiatry, job center, family department, relatives. You are not alone in the collaboration with the citizen.
• Implement professional approaches and methods as well as welfare-technology solutions , including e-services, to strengthen the citizen’s independence.
• Document interventions in the professional system CURA and ensure that we collaborate toward the agreed goals with the citizen.

We are looking for you who

• Are trained occupational therapist or social pedagogue.
• Preferably experienced with Recovery Oriented Rehabilitation, KRAP methods, possibly neuro-pedagogy, ASF.
• Wish to work in a holistic, coordinated and multidisciplinary manner.
• Are open to using and developing welfare-technology solutions.
• Are a team player at all levels and can work independently.
• Are highly receptive, respectful and treat all people as equals.
• Can reflect on your own practice and contribute with your professional knowledge.
• Are familiar with documentation and IT tools, preferably CURA.
• Contribute to an already healthy culture and professionalism in the work.
• Have a driving license and can provide your own car.

Employment terms

• The positions are fixed at 37 hours. Start as soon as possible or no later than 01.01.2027.
• 37 hours weekly or by request.
• Salary according to the current collective agreement.
• Driver’s license and own car is a prerequisite. Currently you are expected to be attached to our team in Løgstør, or Aars - but changes may occur as we have a very dynamic workplace with varying resource needs in the individual teams. We have 5 teams located in Løgstør, Farsø, Aars or Aalestrup.
