About the workplace

Health visiting is organized under Prevention, in the Center for Daycare, School and Prevention.

Prevention consists, in addition to health visitors, of occupational therapists and physiotherapists, speech and hearing consultants, as well as the special institution Akaciehuset.

The shared vision of health visiting

We provide health visiting for children, youths and families with a focus on health promotion and prevention. We share knowledge and develop based on good relations, high professionalism, safety and joy.

We are 20 health visitors, health visitor students, nursing students and a lead health visitor. In addition, administrative staff are attached. Health visiting is organized into three areas with a coordinator in each area.

We are seeking an independent health visitor with competencies within general health visiting for the toddler/young children area and the school area.

The position includes, among other things, the following functions

• General health visiting for families with toddlers and schoolchildren.
• Interdisciplinary consultant function in early, cross-disciplinary efforts in the day care and school area.

The health visitors work with early intervention and screening. Health visiting starts during pregnancy, where we screen for birth reactions in mother and father, among other things.

We work with the ADBB screening method, "Understand your baby" as well as AIMS testing of children’s motor skills.

In the 9-11 month visit we have a special focus on identifying mental vulnerability in small children via the PUF method.

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and DSR. You are employed as self-managing.
