We are looking for a professionally skilled evening shift SSA for Solhøj Care Center

The position is as a 5-2 pattern with work every Monday and Tuesday, and Friday, Saturday, Sunday in odd weeks, switching to even weeks in 2027. Working hours can however be agreed according to your wishes.

A little about the place

Solhøj Care Center is located in Mern in the middle of Vordingborg Municipality.

Solhøj is a small facility with 28 apartments, of which 3 of the residences can accommodate spouses.

You will as an SSA become part of an engaged team consisting of a nurse, social- and healthcare assistants, social- and health care helpers, students, unskilled workers and house assistants.

Our core task is to ensure that the residents receive good care, that they feel safe and that they experience a dignified life. We see empathy, morality and responsibility as a given.

We place high value on a good and safe collegial togetherness, and actively work with well-being. We love to laugh together. It is important for us that we get along well when we are at work, both socially and professionally.

How will your daily life look

We help each other, in the sense that no one goes on break before everyone is finished. You will both have to carry out care tasks and health-related tasks. The health-related tasks can include dosing medications, wound care, catheter care/rinsing/replacement, administration of tube feeding, ordering medicines, doctor contact, etc., all in close collaboration and sparring with the other social- and healthcare assistants and the nurse.

At shift start we hold joint triage meetings. Here we also allocate the shift's tasks. We work with competence development and there will be a good introduction to tasks you may need training in; this may mean that during training you may work day shifts.

We emphasize that daily documentation is prioritized, to benefit the residents' well-being and patient safety. We document in NEXUS, for which there will be a good introduction. We also use MyMedCards/ MySkills.

About the position

The position is full-time, but the final number of hours is agreed according to your wishes. The position is ready to be filled as soon as possible or 1 December 2026.
