🌙 We are looking for a helper for our respiratory team in Nykøbing Mors

We are looking for one new colleague for a fixed night shift of 25 hours per week , with the possibility of more hours in connection with holidays and illness.

You will become part of a team with experienced colleagues who have been around the client for several years. We have a stable and professionally strong group, focusing on care, professionalism and security – both for the client and for each other as colleagues.

Who is the client?

The client is a 37-year-old man with ALS, who is a continuous user of a ventilator. He uses an electric wheelchair, which he controls himself, and communicates both verbally and with the help of mouth reading as well as an eye-tracking computer or phone.

He leads an active and social life with family, friends, board work and trips to his summer house. He also receives visits from his girlfriend and her two children. He lives alone with his cat in an accessible apartment.

Your task will be to contribute to him continuing his everyday life with as much security, independence and quality of life as possible.

Your tasks

As part of the team, your tasks will include

• Respiratory monitoring and care.
• Light personal care.
• Administration of feeds through a tube.
• Support and accompanying to activities and appointments.
• Light housekeeping and cooking.
• Possibly driving in the client's wheelchair-accessible car.

You will primarily work with respiratory care, and you do not need to have experience with a respirator beforehand. You will receive the necessary education and training before you handle the tasks independently.

You will be thoroughly trained

We ensure that you have a good and safe start in the job. Your training program includes

• Education in respiratory treatment.
• Course at Respirationscenter Vest (RCV).
• Buddy training with the client.

When you have completed the training, you will receive a competence certificate in respiratory care.

Working hours and shift plan

• Fixed night shift of 25 hours per week.
• 12-hour shifts from 20:00 to 08:00.
• Fixed rolling schedule, where you work 3 weekends during 8 weeks.
• Possibility of extra hours during holidays and illness.
• Start as soon as possible, or no later than 1.12 2026.
