About the job

Fjordnæs at Hundested Care Center is seeking a social- and health care assistant

Are you passionate about creating good everyday lives for older people? Do you want to use your professional expertise, take responsibility, and be an important part of a strong interdisciplinary community? Then maybe it’s you we’re looking for at Fjordnæs!

Welcome to Fjordnæs – where both the person and the professionalism are in focus

At Fjordnæs you will become part of a care center where we work from a person-centered approach, and where we each day make an effort to create a meaningful, safe and content-rich everyday life for our residents.

We believe that good care starts with curiosity about the individual. Who is the resident? What brings joy? What is important for the individual? And how can we together create the best framework for a good everyday life?

As a social- and health care assistant you will have a central role in this work.

You should dare to lead in the complex resident pathways, take responsibility for the health- and care-related quality, and help ensure that our professional practice is constantly developing.

You will among other things be an important part of the daily triage, where we together create an overview, prioritize actions and share professional observations. You also take on a role as facilitator of resident pathways, where your professional knowledge and your relational skills help ensure continuity and quality.

We do not expect you to know everything from day one. Instead, we hope you are curious, engaged and eager to put your competencies into play.

What can we offer you?

We know that good employees are essential for a good care center. Therefore we make an effort to create a workplace that offers room for professional development, sparring and job satisfaction.

With us you get

  • A good start: An individual introduction program based on your experience and competences. We also welcome applicants who are newly graduated.
  • Professional development: Planned triage meetings, resident conferences and professional training where we learn together.
  • Strong professional partners: Opportunity for sparring with among others development nurse, pharmaconomist and house physician.
  • Influence and responsibility: Opportunity to shape the professional development and help create good and coherent resident pathways.
  • A present management: Visible leadership that prioritizes dialogue, employee well-being and a good working environment.
  • Good colleagues: An engaged staff group where we help each other, share knowledge and also have room for a good laugh in daily life.

You will also have close collaboration with our resource people in areas such as dementia, wounds, incontinence and transfers.

Who do we hope you are?

We imagine that you

  • Are educated as social- and health care assistant – or soon to complete your education.
  • Have a desire to take responsibility and actively bring your professional competencies into play.
  • Can maintain an overview and create structure, even when daily life is unpredictable.
  • Are curious, reflective and not afraid to ask questions.
  • Have good communication skills and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others.
  • Appreciate good interdisciplinary collaboration and see relatives as important partners.
  • Work independently but know that the best solutions are often found in collaboration.
  • Have an interest in documentation and good IT skills. We work in Nexus.
  • Want to contribute to the development of our professional environment and our shared practice.

The most important thing is not that you can do everything – but that you want to learn, develop, and make a difference together with us.

A care center with nature just outside the door

Fjordnæs contains 36 general assisted living apartments and is part of Hundested Care Center. We are uniquely located by the waterfront, where nature is right outside the door and provides us with good opportunities to incorporate the surroundings into residents’ daily lives.

We want to create a place where life is lived – even when moving into assisted living.

Practical information

  • The position is 32-37 hours per week.
  • Working hours are mixed shifts (day and evening).
  • Weekend duty every 4th weekend.
  • Start by agreement.
  • Salary and terms of employment according to applicable collective agreement.

Base salary at the lowest basic pay step for 37 hours per week as of October 1, 2026: 30,788.60 DKK per month excluding pension. In addition, qualification and functional supplements can be agreed.

Shall we meet?

Maybe you are already looking for your next job. Maybe you are just curious about what Fjordnæs can offer you.

Whatever the case, you are very welcome to get in touch. We would gladly invite you for a cup of coffee and an informal chat, show you around Fjordnæs and tell you more about daily life, colleagues and the professional opportunities with us.

Contact acting area manager Sarah Leth Madsen at phone number 29 29 97 16.

We look forward to meeting you – maybe you are exactly the one to become our new colleague!
