Virum School is seeking a skilled Danish teacher for the lower primary

Would you like to be part of an engaged and social staff group at a school with good well-being and a strong academic environment?

We are seeking a Danish teacher for 3rd grade. We would also like to hear about the other skills and subjects you can contribute to our wonderful school. These could be physical education, swimming, English, cultural subjects or practical artistic subjects, but for us the person is the most important.

You will become a teacher in a well-functioning team around 3rd grade with experienced capable colleagues. We hire both full-time and part-time teachers.

Our school

Virum Skole has 4-5 parallel classes in each year group, over 1000 pupils and 120 staff, so there is flexibility and a subject distribution that can bring your competences into play.

We are a development-oriented school with happy children, engaged parents, strong traditions and clear leadership. We work to strengthen our pedagogical foundation so that we stand strong and together.

We work in year-group teams, where you have the majority of your teaching.

All new employees are assigned a mentor who has time to help you get started really well at Virum Skole. You also get a direct supervisor whom you are often in contact with in daily life, and the management follows up on your start at the school. Additionally you as a new employee participate in municipal courses.

As a newly graduated teacher you also get extra preparation time for two years and assigned a learning mentor who helps you with teaching sparring.

Salary and employment according to current rules. Locally there is an additional functional salary step and an LTK allowance agreed. There is a really good municipal agreement for working hours.
