Vittenbergskolen Line S seeks a teacher for a substitute position

Vittenbergskolen Linje S seeks two teachers for full-time substitute positions with commencement on 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The substitute positions run until the summer holidays 2027.

Vittenbergskolen seeks two dedicated teachers for S6A (5th-6th grade) and Kompasset (0-7 grades) in our special education offering, Linje S, Bramming. Linje S is for students who need a tailored teaching program, as they do not profit from teaching in general classes. Students at Linje S may have a combination of complex social, emotional, cognitive, communicative and/or relational difficulties, often in the form of complex challenges and diagnoses.

We are seeking colleagues with a strong professional awareness. You must be theoretically well-founded and able to translate it into practice.

It would be an advantage if you have extensive knowledge about working with children with autism and familiarity with developing and working from mastery plans.

In the pedagogical work, emphasis is placed on a structured and pedagogically attuned approach to create safety and predictability for the student.

We focus on ensuring that all students become as capable as possible given their prerequisites. We primarily work to create trust and security among the students, as we consider this to be the foundation for development and reflection.

• You have solid special educational knowledge and experience, particularly in the autism field and working with sensorily sensitive students.
• You are respectful, credible and loyal in your approach to both students and colleagues.
• You contribute to a daily environment focused on learning, well-being, care and the development of the individual student.
• You work structurally and at the same time creatively in your teaching and in your relationship-building.
• You have strong collaboration skills and can engage in close dialogue with colleagues, parents and other relevant professionals.
• You are familiar with and work from Esbjerg Municipality's child view.
