Warehouse supervisor sought for a company in Silkeborg

On behalf of our partner in Silkeborg, JKS is seeking an engaged and structured warehouse supervisor who can take responsibility for the daily operations and at the same time be an active part of the work in the warehouse.

There is a full-time temporary position with an expected duration of 6 months. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:00.

About the job

As warehouse supervisor you will play a central role in the daily warehouse operations, where you will be responsible for coordinating tasks, supporting the staff and ensuring an efficient workflow.

We are looking for a hands-on trainer, who can both lead and motivate the employees, but who also participates in the practical tasks such as picking, packing and goods receipt.

You will be responsible for a small team of 3 employees and at the same time be an important part of the company's work to optimize and develop the warehouse.

Your tasks

• Daily management, coordination and training of 3 warehouse employees
• Participation in practical warehouse work, including picking and packing of orders
• Collaboration with customer service regarding returns and implementation of procedures for a new returns portal
• Optimization and maintenance of the warehouse layout in Smartpack
• Participation in the ongoing reconstruction and development of the warehouse
• Troubleshooting in connection with goods receipt, picked orders and damaged items
• Ordering of packaging and warehouse items
• Ongoing inventory and stock control
• Receiving and handling of incoming goods

We expect that you

• Have solid experience with warehouse work and logistics
• Preferably have experience with team leadership, coordination or training of employees
• Have good IT understanding and experience with warehouse management systems
• Work in a structured way and have a good overview
• Are solution-oriented and good at optimizing workflows
• Thrive with both administrative and practical tasks
• Are a clear and motivating colleague who leads by example and takes responsibility
• Are flexible, independent and reliable

It is an advantage if you have experience with Smartpack, but the most important is that you have a good understanding of warehousing and a desire to learn.
