RENTEQ Automotive is seeking an experienced IT administrator who can elevate our overall IT setup – from setting up an internal domain and Microsoft 365 to operating and optimizing our Proxmox server. About RENTEQ

RENTEQ Automotive is a Danish company at the forefront of electrifying existing diesel machines and vehicles. We develop and manufacture conversion kit sets for authorized dealers and end customers – and we work with everything from passenger cars and light commercial vehicles to heavy off-road machines. We are a growing startup with short decision paths and high professional ambition.

The job

You will be our primary resource for all IT and will be responsible for structuring and operating our infrastructure. There are a number of concrete tasks waiting from day one – but that is far from all, and the role will evolve in line with the company. You will work closely with management and the other teams and are expected to be able to navigate autonomously, prioritize, and follow up tasks to completion.

The known tasks include, among others

• Setting up and configuring internal domain and Active Directory/Entra ID
• Implementation of Microsoft 365 with SSO integration to the systems we use in everyday life – including HubSpot, e-conomic, MRPeasy and others
• Migration of licenses and services to our Proxmox server as well as setup and optimization of virtual machines
• User administration, access control and security policies across the platform
• Ongoing operations, monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure and systems
• Documentation of IT architecture, setups and processes
• Internal IT support and troubleshooting across the organization.
• Experience with a variety of AI tools and their setup.

Is it you?

We are looking for a person with solid, practical experience in IT administration – not necessarily the longest CV, but someone who has set things up and knows what works in practice. You are used to working independently and thrive in a company where things move quickly.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration: user setup, licenses, Exchange, Teams and Entra ID / Azure AD
• Hands-on experience with Proxmox or a similar virtualization platform
• Solid understanding of domain structure, DNS, networks and security
• Experience with SSO integration and linking business systems
• Comfortable documenting thoroughly and structurally – you leave systems that others can take over
• Independent, solution-oriented and good at communicating with colleagues without a technical background
• Speak and write Danish at a high level and have functional English.

Salary

Salary by agreement in the range 38,000–50,000 DKK per month before tax. The final salary is set individually based on gender-neutral criteria: education, work experience and other competencies.
