About the job and the tasks

At the Rehab and Acute Center we receive many different people directly from the hospital or from their own home. Some are with us to rehabilitate after illness. Others need observation, care or a temporary stay. What they have in common is that they need people around them who can see their possibilities and help them on.

You will become part of a house where social and health care assistants, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists work closely together.

Together you shall, among other things

• Support citizens' rehabilitation, care and training.
• Observe changes in citizens' condition and respond to them.
• Collaborate with citizens, relatives and colleagues toward common goals.
• Contribute to early detection and coherent pathways.
• Create security in a period where life is often a little more uncertain than normal.

Our expectations of you

You are a trained social and health assistant, and the most important thing is that you want to work with people who are in the process of regaining something that illness or a difficult period has taken from them.

We are looking for a colleague who takes responsibility, is curious about other professions and wants to contribute to shared solutions. You don’t need to know everything in advance, but you should want to do your best and what makes sense.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement, with the possibility to negotiate qualification and function-based pay.

The Rehab and Acute Center is a 24-hour operation. We are located at Sneppevej 30, 8723 Løsning.

The position is a permanent appointment in a split day/night function with three weekend shifts over eight weeks. You have influence on your work schedule and can choose working days and hours.

The position is part of the roles that, in connection with the agreement on task delegation, will be transferred to Region Midtjylland. This means that until 31 December 2026 you will be employed by Hedensted Municipality, after which on 1 January 2027 you will transfer to employment in Region Midtjylland and become part of the Health and Care Placements in the Department for Citizen-Centered Health.

This means that what we know as the current Rehab and Acute Center Hedensted will become Health and Care Placements Hedensted.
