About the job
Bankagerskolen is seeking, as of January 1, 2027, a wellbeing advisor for the school and SFO. The position is a maternity leave replacement.
As our wellbeing advisor goes on maternity leave, we are seeking a wellbeing advisor who, together with the management team and staff, will help carry forward our good collaborative culture regarding students' learning, wellbeing and personal mastery. We also seek you because you are passionate about creating the best opportunities for participation for all children at Bankagerskolen.
Perhaps this is the opening for you, who have been considering whether this could be a path for you in the future. You could for example be an AKT counsellor, attached to the middle form or bring experience from the specialized school sector.
It could be interesting if you have knowledge about school absence and autism-friendly pedagogy. You could also have knowledge about how the physical environment interacts with the pedagogical and didactic approach.
As a wellbeing advisor you will be attached to our middle form, Broen, where we focus on close collaboration with class teams and on creating participation opportunities for the students in the classrooms.
You will also be part of the overall advisory group, where we work systematically with interventions at classes/grades. You will be a central figure if it becomes necessary to work with the school’s anti-bullying strategy.
In the upper school you will, among other things, be responsible for teaching the Basal material.
The close collaboration with the pedagogical leaders is the basis for being the coordinator in student cases, where there are network meetings and collaboration with parents, children, teams and the external support system.
As a wellbeing advisor at Bankagerskolen you create, through your presence, your care and your resource-oriented perspective, coherence for the school’s most vulnerable children and young people, while with trust and credibility you create a safe and constructive guidance space for the school’s pedagogical staff.
You will have special focus on
- To ensure close collaboration between staff and management to create participation opportunities.
- To provide guidance and sparring to the school's pedagogical staff in working with vulnerable children and young people.
- To provide guidance and sparring in work with communication, action plans and other pedagogical initiatives with flexibility in mind.
- To support work on identifying student absenteeism and measures that promote the child's attendance in the community.
- To support and guide colleagues in a complex everyday life, where we insist that ALL children learn and thrive in good communities.
- To be a central part of our middle form, Broen.
About you
- You approach daily life with trust, curiosity and professional sparring . You are a present educator/teacher/psychologist/psychotherapist/social worker who prioritizes dialogue at eye level, easy accessibility and a focus on professional and wellbeing development. And you are happy to bring your professional, theoretical and practical knowledge into play.
- You are passionate about the public school. You are motivated by the core task and able to create good frameworks for collaboration, communication, development and wellbeing.
- You are a team player. You collaborate with relevant parties in the work of creating learning and wellbeing among students – and among your colleagues. You also contribute to prioritizing the use of the school’s resources.
About the school
The school is an open-plan school, which means openness and helpfulness are at the forefront among the school's 780 students and 95 staff. The school is growing and has 3-4 tracks per year group.
Bankagerskolen is divided into two phases – Phase 1, covering SFO and kindergarten classes to 3rd grade. Phase 2 covers 4th-9th grade. In both phases there are two leaders who work closely together.
Bankagerskolen is a well-run and development-oriented school located in the southern part of Horsens. The area is an attractive residential area with an engaged and resourceful parent group that strongly supports the school.
Requirements for the position
You have a relevant professional background as a teacher, educator, psychologist, social worker or psychotherapist. You have experience from school, and a professional interest in and knowledge of both good teaching, good pedagogy and the many psychological factors of the discipline.
Information about the position and Bankagerskolen can be obtained by contacting the school principal Mads Paaske or the pedagogical leader John W. Jørgensen at telephone 7629 3330. You are also welcome to send an email to [email protected] with your contact details, after which you will be called.
Visits to the school can be arranged via the school secretary Anne Rasmussen at telephone 7629 3330.
Submit your application via the link no later than Thursday, 12 November 2026.
We expect to conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to send your application.
The position is a full-time position, but other arrangements can also be agreed.
Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
Start date 1 January 2027.
