We are seeking an ambitious educational consultant for the day care sector in Næstved Municipality

About the job

You will become part of a collaborative and competent group of consultants that supports the shared core task in Næstved Municipality in the 0-16 year area, namely that all children, regardless of background, should be part of valuable communities. We work focused on creating strong generic environments and participation opportunities for all children.

The tasks in the center are diverse and range from development and project management of national and municipal initiatives to support for operational tasks, supervision, case briefs and ongoing advice and sparring.

Your tasks

A large part of your task portfolio will be to conduct supervision in municipal and private institutions as well as day care. The goal is high-quality day care and thus to contribute to ongoing improvements in pedagogical practice. The supervision involves dialogue meetings with institutions and parents, leadership coaching and staff meetings.

As a consultant you will thus be an important sparring partner for area managers, daily managers and the head area, and you contribute to creating communities and good learning environments for all children.

Side by side with the work on supervision, you will solve various administrative tasks, e.g., handling inquiries from citizens and descriptions of new workflows and procedures in the organization. You will also work on development tasks, e.g., organizing pedagogical days, presentations and ongoing guidance of leaders and staff in daycare. Just as you will participate in development initiatives across the administrations, areas and daycares.

About you

You are passionate about working with children’s well-being, learning and participation and have solid knowledge of the daycare sector. It is also important to us that you:

• have experience with development of pedagogical practice and can advise, coordinate and maintain an overview
• are good at communication and have flair for conveying both in writing and in oral contexts, e.g., presentations
• are committed to incorporating new knowledge and research into our joint task solution
• can thrive in both development tasks and administrative tasks
• have courage and perhaps experience with case handling, political case submissions and handling of legislation in the area
• have good energy, enthusiasm and are curious in interactions with others

You are presumably educated as a pedagogue with relevant continuing or further education. It could also be that you have leadership experience and education

You will become part of the Center for Daycare, School and Prevention (CDSF) in the Pedagogy, Learning and Development team, where consultants from school and daycare work together to develop professional quality.

Relevant educational proof and CV must be attached.

Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement entered into between KL and the negotiating organization.
