About the client

In Karlslunde lives a sweet and kind 22-year-old man. He is very social and loving by nature and loves closeness and hugs.

The client has infantil autism and cognitive impairment. He was born with club feet and uses a brace on one leg/foot. He walks fine, can run and ride a 'side by side' bike.

The client needs structure, predictability and support in social situations. He understands quite a bit of verbal language, but can rarely respond concretely. He needs to be verbally supported not to get stuck in the task or activity he is in the middle of.

The client uses a diaper and needs support during toilet visits

About the task

The client has 15 hours of companionship per month. The client is flexible, but would like companionship on weekends, with a duration of 1-6 hours at a time depending on what you will be doing. You will travel around by public transport

The client wishes companionship to go out and get some good and fun experiences. He would like to go to Tivoli, ZOO, Den Blå Planet etc. He would also like to go to a pizzeria or McDonald’s.

During companionship the client may need to be held by the hand or supported under the arm. The client is very afraid of dogs and birds, especially if the animals appear unexpectedly.

In these situations he needs support to de-escalate the situation by being distracted and shielded, so that he does not run away, as he is not traffic-safe.

About you

You are present and can create joyful companionship and meet the client where he is in his development

You are patient, loving and preferably hold hands or under the arm, as he is very social and has a need for close contact.

You must be willing to provide personal care,

You can create structured and predictable frameworks as well as support him in social situations

You are educated as a pedagogue or another relevant education - and have knowledge of clients with diagnoses.

There is an opportunity to be paid as a pedagogue or according to other relevant experience.

Salary and pension in accordance with the National Agreement for handicap assistance in the client's own home (minus BPA) entered into between FOA and Dansk Erhverv.
