Would you like to be a social and health care assistant trainee in Holbæk Municipality?

We are looking for motivated social and health care helper trainees for the start of training on 18 January 2027 on the main program.

The training lasts 14 months and alternates between school at ZBC Holbæk and an internship in Holbæk Municipality. We provide an internship placement for you at both a nursing home and in home care. Since we cycle around to citizens in home care, it is a requirement that you can cycle. You will get an exciting education where you learn to assist the citizen with personal care and practical help such as heating food, cleaning etc., but also to initiate activities with the citizens and improve their quality of life.

We have a good learning and education environment, where you have both a daily supervisor and a responsible supervisor who help support and guide you during the education, since your well-being and professional development are important to us. We ensure a thorough introduction to the tasks at your internship site as well as to your education, where we, among other things, hold introduction days for new students, so you get a good and secure start.

You meet at student cafes with the other students, where you have the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other and where we also have teaching in academic subjects.

There are good job opportunities in the elderly care sector after completing the education.

You are

• Currently in Basic Course 2 – or have already completed Basic Course 2
• Attendance-unstable and able to take responsibility for your education
• Interested in working with elderly people
• Empathetic and responsible in your work
• Early to rise, as the workday starts at 7.00

Salary and employment conditions

• You will receive a salary throughout your education, both during school and internship periods
• The salary is according to the current collective agreement with FOA
• If you are 25 years or older, you will receive adult trainee salary
• You should expect to have a weekend shift every 3rd - 4th weekend
• The internship sites are geographically located throughout Holbæk Municipality
• We ensure to tailor your educational pathway for you
