Application deadline
What does it mean?
Application deadline (ansøgningsfrist) is the cutoff for submitting materials for a vacancy. Deadlines may be "as soon as possible" or fixed date/time — always confirm timezone and required format (portal, email, PDF).
Apply before deadline with margin for technical issues. Late applications are rarely considered unless employer explicitly extends.
Some roles close early when enough applications arrive — do not wait until last day for attractive postings. Early application can signal strong interest.
Track deadlines in a spreadsheet with reminders. For open applications to companies without posted vacancies, timing is less formal but follow up periodically.
