Cover letter
What does it mean?
Cover letter (motiveret ansøgning) accompanies your CV, addressing the specific employer and role: motivation, relevant experience and what you offer. Typically one page, professional tone.
Structure: opening hook, why this company/role, 2–3 evidence paragraphs matching requirements, closing with call to action. Avoid repeating CV verbatim — add narrative and motivation.
Danish applications often require both CV and cover letter unless posting says CV only. English postings to international companies may expect English letter.
