Networking
What does it mean?
Networking is cultivating professional contacts through events, LinkedIn, alumni groups, former colleagues and industry associations. In Denmark, many jobs are filled through networks before public advertising.
Effective networking is reciprocal — offer help, share knowledge and maintain relationships over time, not only when you need a job. Follow up after meetings with a brief thank-you message.
Prepare a short introduction (elevator pitch) and clear ask: information interview, referral or feedback on CV. Respect people's time.
Your a-kasse may host networking events. Industry conferences, union activities and volunteer work expand reach. Track contacts and conversations systematically during active job search.

Two-week rule
To qualify for unemployment benefits you must join an unemployment fund (a-kasse) within two weeks of finishing your education. Once you join, there is a mandatory waiting month, meaning you receive your first benefit payment one month after your education ends.
Rejection
A rejection from an employer is a clear answer that you did not get the job you applied for. Rejection is a natural part of job searching, however unwelcome it may feel. You may have sent a strong cover letter, perhaps even attended an interview and felt the chemistry was perfect.
Agile
One of the big buzzwords in business in recent years has been "agile", which essentially means flexibility. The word has different meanings depending on context — "agile leadership" and "agile software development" have different characteristics.
