Recruitment

What does it mean?

Recruitment (rekruttering) covers the full hiring cycle: workforce planning, job profiling, advertising, screening, interviews, assessment, offer and onboarding.

Candidates interact mainly with HR and hiring managers; large firms use ATS, assessment centres and multiple interview rounds. Small firms may decide quickly with fewer steps.

Optimise each stage: tailored application (screening), structured interview preparation (selection), reference readiness (verification) and negotiation (offer).

Recruitment agencies and headhunters are intermediaries paid by employers. Temporary agencies employ you directly while placing you at client companies — know which model applies.
