The job

• Advise and guide members regarding work-related injuries, sickness benefits, cash benefits, labor-market-related measures and other related social questions.
• Handle members' work-related injury and liability/compensation cases.
• Collaborate with internal and external lawyers on liability cases.
• Assist members in processes with sickness benefits, cash assistance and in labor-market-related measures.
• Collaborate internally with the union's other employees and elected representatives in individual cases and in joint projects.
• Convey professional social work knowledge at theme meetings to colleagues, elected representatives and members.
• Develop the socialwork practice and promote political focus/make visible important problem areas.
• Participate in collaboration forums with municipalities, unions and partners.

We expect that you

• Are a qualified social worker with broad advisory experience in the social field or have worked with work-related injury case handling.
• Have knowledge of the work-related injury legislation.
• Have knowledge and preferably experience in the employment/labour market area.
• Have empathy and can communicate with both members and partners, both verbally and in writing.
• Can work independently and in a holistic manner.
• Can work systematically and maintain an overview.
• Are approachable and can build trust in different relationships.
• Can collaborate constructively with external partners.
• Can deliver visible results for our members.
• Have a clear stance on the ideologies of the labor movement.
