Fenrishus is a department under Region Midt, Special Area for Children and Young People (SBU).

Our pedagogical work is based on neuroaffective developmental psychology. Our focus is to create relationships and engage in interaction with the child, among other things through sensory stimulation, individually tailored activities and milestones. We work from an individual approach to the child, where the individual child's skills, resources and needs are at the center.

Because all children at Fenrishus have diagnoses of a life-limiting nature, and therefore shorter life expectancy, the pedagogical effort is supplemented with the palliative approach, where the focus is on relief and what constitutes quality of life for the individual child and their family. In addition, we work in a multidisciplinary environment, and place a very high emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration. Here, social pedagogues, nurses, social and health care assistants, and therapists work closely together on the overall effort for the children.

The children at Fenrishus use wheelchairs, have no verbal language and communicate through facial expressions and sounds. Many of the children are fed via a tube. They all need to be regulated through a gentle approach, through daily structures and individual communication forms.

One of your foremost tasks will be to help ensure that the children have the best possible childhood within the conditions they have been given. Here, the health care professional input goes hand in hand with the social work input, as they are the prerequisites for each other in the daily work on the core task. Working hours

We offer a full-time position. If you would like fewer hours, there is an option to arrange this.

The position consists of a combination of day and evening shifts. Night shifts may occur.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between SL and Danske Regioner.
