About the job

Are you passionate about helping children and young people in psychological distress before their problems grow too large? Does it give you job satisfaction to be part of a small team with other dedicated psychologists? And do you gain energy from collaboration across disciplines? If you can answer yes to all three questions, you may be our new colleague in Køge Municipality's Lettilgængeligt Behandlingstilbud (Accessible Treatment Offer).

As one of our psychologists, after many years in Køge Municipality, moves to Funen, we are looking for a new psychologist for our core team in Lettilgængeligt Behandlingstilbud. We are established as an independent team in the Prevention and Administration unit in the Family Center Køge, and we consist of four psychologists, including one leading psychologist, who will be your immediate supervisor.

In Køge Municipality we place a high value on prevention and early intervention, and we know that this calls for interdisciplinary collaboration. This is why Lettilgængeligt Behandlingstilbud is anchored in Prevention and Administration together with our corps of preventive advisors in the 0-18-year area. We also have close collaboration with PPR as well as our internal family treatment Egehuset, as psychologists from here also handle selected tasks in Lettilgængeligt Behandlingstilbud.

In Køge Municipality we have chosen to focus on the five treatment tracks developed by STIME. The STIME tracks are aimed at children and young people aged 3-17 years with psychological distress and/or symptoms of mental illness, e.g., anxiety and depression, self-harming behavior, eating disorders, etc. The STIME programs offer an early and structured intervention built on 1) early detection and precise screening, 2) manual-based treatment programs, and 3) support in the learning environment.

With the acute plan for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, there are also new municipal initiatives on the way, which we look forward to following.
