2 part-time postdoc positions for the Research Unit at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Center

The Research Unit at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Center is seeking 2 postdocs for evaluation and research in the Rapid Psychiatric Intervention (HPI project).

The postdoc positions involve participation in the evaluation and research of the HPI project, including building, maintaining and analyzing care pathway and research databases based on data from CVD Centralvisitationen, the Sundhedsplatformen (Health Platform), and supplementary research data.

The positions

We offer 2 identical part-time positions of 15 hours/week in an inspiring research environment. The positions are limited to the period from 01.11.2026 to and including 30.6.2029.

As part of the HPI team, you will handle the project’s research-related tasks such as

• Develop the final HPI research protocol, including ensuring the relevance, accessibility and usability of outcomes and variables, and possibly pilot testing.
• Prepare relevant documents for the approval of the project by the relevant authorities.
• Oversee the establishment of a care pathway database and a research database in collaboration with relevant partners.
• Participate in collaboration with the clinical departments.
• Educate clinicians in their tasks regarding recruitment and data collection.
• Recruit study participants and obtain consent.
• Continuously monitor data collection.
• Oversee the scientific dissemination of the results.

Your qualifications

We expect that you have a health profession degree with a Ph.D. in a relevant field and experience with psychiatric and/or child and adolescent psychiatry clinics.

We would like you to be engaged, flexible, structured and a team player as well as have good communication skills.

Salary and employment terms

The positions are 15 hours per week.

The positions are limited to the period from 01.11.2026 to and including 30.6.2029.

As a physician you will be employed under the agreement for Subordinate physicians - 33.06.1

As an academic staff member you will be employed under the agreements for academics employed in regions, etc. - 33.01.1

About the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Center (BUC)

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Center (BUC) is part of Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital and covers the entire Region Hovedstaden. The center conducts assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with all forms of severe mental disorders that require a multidisciplinary hospital-based approach. The center has two clinical departments: Outpatient Department and Inpatient Department, distributed across several sites in the region, as well as a large research unit.

In addition, the center has a number of support functions, including administration and a quality and improvement unit. In total we are about 1,000 employees who participate in close multiprofessional collaboration for the approximately 18,000 children and youths aged 0-17 years who are seen at the center annually (2025).
