About the job
AC-generalist with a willingness for transformation and development for a new Center Staff in the Neurocentre, Rigshospitalet
Do you want to help build a new center staff in the Neurocentre and have real influence on how we organize and develop our support for management? Can you drive strategic processes and ensure qualified management support while we assemble the new team? Then you may be our new colleague in the Neurocentre.
Rigshospitalet is undergoing an exciting transformation process. We are developing our administrative support and at the same time building new center staffs in all seven centers. As part of the new staff structure, we are establishing a center secretariat.
The Center Secretariat’s task is to support the center's management and departments with a professional, cohesive and accommodating administrative service.
Therefore we are seeking an ambitious AC-generalist who thrives at the intersection of strategy, operations, development and management support.
About the job and your tasks As an AC-generalist you will have an outward-facing role with a broad contact surface to the center’s department leaders. You will be the bridge-builder who translates complex administrative and strategic requirements into concrete, usable solutions in the clinic.
- Administrative and strategic relief/shortfall: You support and drive complex administrative ad hoc tasks, prepare case briefs and prepare decision proposals for the center management.
- Close advisory support: You consult with the center leadership on the implementation of new strategic initiatives, regional goals, and internal development projects.
- Process and project support: You function as an implementation consultant on strategic projects and help structure and drive the processes to a secure completion.
- Co-development of the new staff: You actively contribute to designing the new workflows of the staff function so that the center staff genuinely creates value and relief close to daily clinical work.
Who are you? We are looking for an academic (e.g., cand.scient.pol., cand.admin., cand.comm. or similar) who is motivated to support the Neurocentre’s leadership in reading the core tasks of treatment, education, research and innovation.
- You are distinctly service-oriented : You are driven to make a noticeable difference for others, and you meet the clinical leaders at eye level with a “how can I help” approach.
- You are a strong advisor and communicator: You can advise and guide with authority and empathy, and you can distill complex administrative requirements into easy-to-understand solutions.
- You thrive in a transformation process: You see it as an advantage that the staff function is not fully predefined in advance, and you would like to help shape the culture.
- You may have hospital experience: It is a great advantage if you already have familiarity with the health care system and understand the dynamics and the context in which the clinical department leadership navigates.
What do we offer? An opportunity to be part of a pioneering team where you can leave your own personal mark on a central support function. You will have a daily life with great variation, close contact with leadership and a high degree of independence in problem solving.
- A key role in a large-scale transformation with a focus on real value creation for the clinic.
- Great influence on planning of your own workday
- Opportunity for professional development in an exciting environment
A workplace with high ceilings and an informal tone
