Academically strong teacher in the pedagogical assistant education

At SOSU Esbjerg we are seeking a professionally strong and engaged teacher for the education-specific subjects in the pedagogical assistant education.

We are looking for you who have solid pedagogical knowledge, experience from practice and a desire to translate your professionalism into teaching that develops the students' professional understanding, reflection and ability to act. Your professional tasks

As a teacher in the education-specific subjects you will be responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating instruction that supports the students' development of pedagogical competencies and professional judgment.

We expect that you

• can translate pedagogical theory, research and practical experience into academically well-founded teaching
• will work with practice-oriented and varied teaching forms such as cases, simulation/reflection exercises
• will support the students' development of professional reflection, action competence and professional judgment
• will contribute to the development of holistic teaching sequences
• work systematically with the students' learning, progression and evaluation

We expect that you

• have a strong pedagogical profile and experience from pedagogical practice
• have teaching competencies in one or more of the PA education's education-specific subjects
• create practice-oriented teaching with clear coherence between school and practical training
• have high professional expertise and strong didactic skills with focus on students' learning, well-being and development
• can participate in a committed professional learning community
• are curious, collaborative and take responsibility for both your own and shared tasks
• are passionate about developing your teaching and contributing to a strong and attractive PA education

Experience with teaching in an vocational education and training setting is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Terms of employment

• The position is 30-37 hours with start on 1 December 2026
• Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement which you can find here .
