About the job
Would you like to be involved in ensuring the implementation of the Defence's future Communications and Information Systems (CIS)? - Then the Finance – and Operations Staff may have a job for you in the Operations Section as an accreditation administrator.
About us
The Finance – and Operations Staff together with the Development and Planning Staff, the Operations Staff and the Management Secretariat form the Defence Staff. The Finance – and Operations Staff is generally responsible for all cross-cutting, operational matters that do not relate to force deployment or development, and acts as a link between the Defence Command's units, commands and authorities, the supporting agencies and Defence leadership as well as the Ministry of Defence’s department.
The Finance – and Operations Staff consists of a management element, a Controls Department and the Business Controlling Department.
The Operations Section is located in the Controls Department, which, together with the Coordination and Control Section, the Establishment Section and the Audit and Compliance Section, focuses on the Defence Command's internal governance, prioritisation and planning.
The Operations Section is primarily responsible for the Defence Command's planning as well as the operational management of the operating year + 2 years. This includes preparing, updating, synchronising and following up on the Defence Command's planning documents in the form of planning data and dimensioning data in cooperation with the Operations Staff and with involvement of the services and commands.
We are in a section where the tone is informal and where there is great flexibility regarding working hours, presence and home office.
About the position
You will work in the Finance and Operations Staff's Operations Section, which consists of nine employees including the head and deputy head. The section is distributed with six employees in Karup and three in Copenhagen. Since the job requires close collaboration with Cyber, Information Security and Data Protection Section within the Operations Staff, the position is located in Copenhagen.
The main task as CIS administrator is to register, qualify, follow up on and coordinate Defence accreditation cases. You will thoroughly familiarise yourself with each case and, with your knowledge of accreditation cases, advise the authorities on the further process, prioritise the case and send it to the appropriate place at the Defence Intelligence Service.
You follow up and ensure that loose ends are captured in the collaboration between the accreditation responsible at Defence authorities and the Defence Intelligence Service. We expect you to have an overview of Defence accreditation cases and that they are up-to-date and accurately reflected on our shared platform.
About you
We would like you to have an office-based educational background with knowledge of information security and possibly also building construction. You are proficient in Excel and familiar with working with SharePoint. If you have experience with cyber/information security or physical security, that is an advantage but not a requirement.
To succeed as best as possible in the job, we imagine that you
- are structured and methodical in your approach to work. We need all cases to be processed and for loose ends to be tied together
- are service-minded and good at collaboration. As an administrator you know how cases should be handled and therefore we expect you to assist the commands and authorities as much as possible
- have an eye for optimisation of processes, case workflows and procedures.
Employment terms
The employment is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organization – The Public Sector Area (OAO-S Collective Agreement) and the Organizational Agreement for Clerical Workers, Laboratory Technicians and IT Employees (HK) in the state.
Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is a possibility for negotiation of allowances. The position is connected to an employer-financed pension scheme.
The workplace is in Copenhagen.
As an employee under the Ministry of Defence's area you are subject to certain special terms. You must be able to obtain security clearance and maintain the clearance throughout the employment.
You have as an employee a duty to serve outside the country's borders, including at units in international operations with a view to participation in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian and other similar operations.
Contact and application
If you want to hear more about the position, you are welcome to contact the person responsible for the accreditation area, Major Thomas Jellesmark, at telephone 7281 2453 or acting chief Major Michael Evers-Nielsen at telephone 3057 3898.
If you have questions about salary and terms of employment, you are welcome to contact Personnel Command, HR Consultant Katrine Glyngbo at telephone 3266 5542.
The application deadline is 13 November 2026 and interviews are expected to be held in connection with this. The position is to be filled as soon as possible, or no later than 1 February 2027.
You apply for the position via the link, and we ask you to attach your application, CV and copies of your education certificate/apprenticeship diploma. Please note that attachments must be added in PDF format.
