You will play a central role in an environment with many stakeholders, short decision paths and tasks that evolve along the way.

About the position

As a caseworker you will be a close part of the team around the head of Kapacitetscenter Strike.

You will support both daily operations and the larger processes around acquisitions, collaborations, meetings, decisions and reporting.

You must be able to manage many different tasks simultaneously and ensure follow-up.

Your main tasks will be

  • Prepare notes, decision proposals, briefings and other management support
  • Coordinate input from internal and external stakeholders

  • Coordinate internal processes and consultations
  • Support collaboration with the Defence, FMI, other authorities and external partners
  • Ensure that documentation and case workflows are in place
  • Handle other case processing and coordination tasks as the capacity center develops.

About you

You have a relevant higher education degree or equivalent experience with case processing and coordination in a complex organization.

You may be at the start of your career or have several years of experience. The most important is that you are curious, structured and eager to work with a area where there is both high professionalism and great complexity.

We particularly emphasize that you

  • Are strong in writing and can formulate complex matters clearly and precisely
  • Can analyze information and translate it into usable decision proposals
  • Systematically follow up on agreements and deadlines
  • Have good collaboration skills
  • Can work independently and take responsibility for your own tasks
  • Have understanding of organizational processes and decision paths
  • Communicate confidently in Danish and English

Experience from the Defence, an agency, a ministry or another complex public organization is an advantage, but not required.

We offer

You will have a central role in building a new capacity center and come close to both management, acquisitions, technical and operational needs.

You will get among other things

  • Opportunity to be involved from the start of a new organization
  • A broad contact across the Ministry of Defence group
  • National and international collaboration interfaces
  • Opportunity to develop your competencies in case processing, coordination and project support
  • A professionally strong and cross-disciplinary environment

Expect to have 20-40 travel days per year , depending on tasks and activities.

There will be opportunity for remote work days , when tasks allow.

Terms of employment

You are employed in accordance with the applicable collective agreement at any time.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is the possibility of negotiating a supplement. There is an employer-funded pension scheme linked to the position.

The workplace is in Ballerup.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence area you are subject to some special terms. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance during the entire employment period.

You as an employee have a duty to render service outside the country's borders, including at units in international operations with a view to participation in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peace enforcement, humanitarian and other similar operations.
