Addiction treatment professional for Nyropsgade Substance Abuse Treatment

Are you a social worker, and are you motivated by making a difference for people with alcohol and drug problems? Then a group of skilled and engaged colleagues is ready to welcome you to Rusmiddelbehandling Nyropsgade. We are looking for a substance misuse counselor on full-time from 1 January 2027.

About Rusmiddelbehandling Nyropsgade

At Rusmiddelbehandling Nyropsgade we address and treat substance misuse issues related to alcohol, hashish and central stimulants. Treatment is voluntary and driven by the citizen's own desire for change. The treatment work is planned together with the individual citizen and qualified in a citizen-centered, multidisciplinary team collaboration.

The staff group is multidisciplinary, and we have many overlaps in daily task solving. This means your tasks will be broad. You will have both coordinating tasks and tasks of a more therapeutic nature.

In a typical work week you will both have to

• receive a new citizen and clarify the citizen's drug use and situation in general
• have individual conversations or group programs with a focus on change in drug use
• hold network meetings with our partners in psychiatry or other parts of the Social Administration
• clarify with your team whether a citizen is in the target group for more intensive treatment, e.g., in inpatient care, and carry out the practical and administrative tasks that ensure the citizen can enter inpatient treatment

Who are you?

We dream of a colleague who

• is educated as a social worker
• has relevant therapeutic continuing education, e.g., in MI or cognitive treatment
• has previous experience from the substance misuse field or another area with citizens who have mental or social problems
• perhaps also experience with group programs of educational or therapeutic nature

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation.

The position is 37 hours per week. Start date 1 January 2027.
