About the job

The Danish Prisons are in the process of implementing a comprehensive criminal justice reform, and in the coming years will need many more uniformed employees. Would you like to help us attract and recruit the very best foremen and prison- transport- and security officers?

In recruitment and onboarding we work from the Danish Prisons' schools in Birkerød and Møgelkær with the attraction and development of uniformed staff for all Danish prisons. With many new tasks and prison places on the way and a large need to attract more uniformed employees, we now have the opportunity to expand the team with a recruitment consultant for the school in Møgelkær.

About the position and the tasks

You will become part of an efficient and engaged team, which at the same time prioritizes safe operations, good results and good collaboration. We value well-being, development and balance in a daily life that alternates between administrative tasks and conversations at the school in Møgelkær, dissemination and representation nationwide, and calm and deep work at the home office.

We plan and participate in events, at trade fairs, markets and much more, all over Denmark. In our presentation lorry, we tell about the important societal task we undertake in The Danish Prisons, and convey knowledge about jobs and education to potential applicants and curious citizens. We guide and screen, we test and interview, and we plan the introduction and education path for the apprentices in foreman- prison- transport- and security- officer apprentices to ensure we hire and onboard the best candidates.

As our new colleague, you will play a central role in the recruitment task. You will, for example, be the first contact the applicants meet by phone and by our email, help screen applications, become the local expert in our recruitment system, hold guidance interviews, and you will — sometimes in the evenings or on weekends — assist in campaign activities and the dissemination of our jobs and educations at fairs, public meetings, etc. nationwide.

About you

As our new administrative recruitment consultant, we primarily value that you want to move in the intersection between administrative tasks, human relationships and representation. We are looking for someone who is positive, outgoing and good at cooperation. Someone who communicates well both in writing and speech, and who is flexible regarding working hours and tasks within a 37-hour work week.

Perhaps you already know The Danish Prisons, perhaps you have experience from a similar role in another organization, perhaps you come with a completely different background. For us, the most important thing is that you create and thrive with structure, and that you are motivated by both administrative tasks, people and dissemination.

If you want to help attract the right people to an important societal task, throw yourself into new challenges where the outcome is not given in advance, and have the courage to work with a wide range of tasks in a field that is both complex, meaningful and exciting, then perhaps you are the one we are looking for?

Salary and employment terms

Employment and remuneration are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and applicable organizational agreement depending on educational background and any local agreements. In addition, supplements can be agreed depending on experience and qualifications.

  • The position is a full-time position with an average working time of 37 hours per week.
  • The employment area is The Danish Prisons. You will formally belong to Prison Sector West, Office in Aarhus. Your service location will be the school in Møgelkær, Møgelkærvej 18B, 7130 Juelsminde. You should anticipate occasional tasks across the country in connection with participation in recruitment activities, meetings, courses, etc.
  • We have flexible working hours, and you have a fairly large opportunity to plan the solution of your tasks yourself. We place emphasis on a strong professional community and close collegial contact, and you can work from home when it fits with your tasks.
  • The position is desired to be filled as soon as possible or by 1 February 2027 at the latest.
