About the job

Would you like meaningful work in a strong, operational and development-oriented intelligence service? Do you have a good overview and can you join a professional team that works with security in the Defence?

If you can say yes to these questions, and the tasks below, then the Defence Intelligence Service (FE) has a very interesting job as an administrative staff member in the Department of Military Security, which needs to be filled as soon as possible.

You will be challenged and have room to develop

You will join a broadly composed team consisting of both civilian and military staff. It gives us a high professional level to solve our tasks, which include among other things handling security clearances within the Defence Agency and in the defence industry.

The position involves good and broad cooperation with the Police Intelligence Service, with security authorities abroad, with security-cleared companies and with security organizations in the Defence Ministry's corporate area.

Your main tasks in the position will be

  • Case processing, including handling of information for security clearance of companies and employees under the Defence Ministry's corporate area.
  • Creation and updating of security clearances in administrative systems.
  • Cooperation with authorities regarding personal security and industrial security.
  • Coordination and support for the task solving in the team for corporate clearances.
  • Provide administrative support to your team colleagues as well as planning of the team’s agency tasks.

The work is mainly from the office, but you will also occasionally be able to visit the authorities and companies we work with and service. You will have good opportunities to further develop your own competences and receive professional sparring at a high professional level.

You and your background are important

You primarily value your good colleagues and actively contribute to a good working environment. You are a good team player who also contributes to solving more routine administrative tasks.

You are very thorough in solving your tasks and you know yourself well enough to know that you can work with great discretion in the tasks. It is important that you are professionally and personally prepared to be able to work with both security and people.

If you have knowledge of/experience from the armed forces, as well as an interest in military security, this is certainly an advantage but not a requirement.

There will be a targeted and structured training program in connection with the appointment, where you will be introduced to both case processing and IT systems.

We expect you to have a relevant professional education or military education as well as relevant work experience.

You must be able to express yourself verbally and in writing in Danish and English.

Your new workplace

The Defence Intelligence Service (FE) is Denmark’s foreign intelligence service and works – secretly and openly – to protect Denmark and Danish interests in a changing world.

You will become part of a very special organization, where we pull together to solve an important task.

Many of your future colleagues are passionate about making a difference, and we have a strong professional and social cohesion. Since we cannot talk much about our work with friends and family, a very special bond is created with your colleagues.

For us it isn’t easy to take work home, as we deal with confidential information. On the other hand, we offer a high degree of flexibility in planning your work time, and when you are not working, you have complete freedom.

We have a strong focus on social cohesion, supported by various events such as a Friday bar and a board game café. You also have the option to join various professional fora that cross the organization. We also have a sports association where you can engage in different types of exercise with your colleagues.

As an employee in FE you are covered by some special terms. It is required that you can obtain a security clearance and maintain the clearance throughout your employment. Like the rest of the Defence, you are obliged to be available for short-term deployment abroad if the need arises.

You can read more about FE on our website www.fe-ddis.dk.
