About the job

Would you like to help raise the professional bar in the specialized adult area?

Do you also think that good public authority practice is about more than just case processing? Do you thrive in a strong professional environment where we spar closely, support each other and find good solutions to complex challenges? Then we have two exciting positions in our department.

We are seeking two engaged social workers/social mediators for respectively Team Psychiatry and our Special Team (§ 100 / § 96 et al.).

With us you will have engaged colleagues, approachable leadership and a daily life with plenty of room to grow. We know that the specialized adult area can be complex, and that is exactly why we prioritise professional backing, security and job satisfaction extremely highly. We work based on VUM 2.0 and a recovery-oriented approach, where we base our work on the citizen's resources as well as the citizen's own wishes, hopes and dreams.

Two strong professional profiles – which path are you passionate about?

  • 1. Advisor to Team Psychiatry

Here you will become part of a dedicated team working with citizens with psychiatric functional impairments. Your task will be to create safe, structured pathways with a focus on development and well-being.

  • The tasks include among other things VUM assessments, intake and follow-up on residential care (§§ 107/108), social-pedagogical support (§ 85), day services (§§ 103 and 104) and guardianship.
  • You will have a daily life with broad contact with citizens, ongoing client contact and good collaborative relationships with both internal and external actors.
  • 2. Advisor to the Special Team (§ 100 / § 96 et al.)

Here you join a small, well-functioning team of a total of 6 advisors. You will have the opportunity to dive into the compensatory area and work with complex assessments, calculations and legislation.

  • The tasks primarily include compensation benefits (§ 100), Citizen-Driven Personal Assistance (§ 96) and cash allowances (§ 95, sec. 3) as well as related areas such as §§ 98 and 102.
  • The position is ideal for you who love professional depth, enjoy nerding into cases and numbers, and who work in a structured and systematic way.

Please indicate in your application whether you are applying for a specific team or are interested in both positions.

What are we looking for in you?

You

  • are a trained social worker, social mediator or have another relevant background
  • driven by a high level of professionalism, have legal understanding and are able to keep an overview and calm – even when cases are complex
  • work systematically and are sharp at written communication and decisions
  • meet citizens, collaboration partners and colleagues with curiosity, integrity and a smile

What can you expect from us?

  • A good start

A thorough and tailored introduction program and a fixed mentor arrangement, so you are well prepared and feel confident in your tasks.

  • Professional sparring in daily work

Close sparring with professional coordinators and our attached lawyer so you never stand alone with difficult assessments.

  • An approachable and trust-based leadership

You will meet leadership that values close dialogue, involvement and a strong professional latitude. We place emphasis on offering sparring when case processing becomes difficult, and on supporting your professional well-being and development in everyday life.

  • Room for the whole person

A good working environment with room for laughter, focus on well-being, flexible hours and the possibility of home working, so you can balance work and private life.

  • Good physical facilities

We are located close to the station with good parking facilities.

The practical

  • Starting date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
  • Working hours: 37 hours per week (or by arrangement).
  • Salary and terms of employment: In accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the Local Pay principles.
