Head of Department for Riiset Kindergarten

About Riiset

Riiset is a self-owned, integrated institution with an outreach kindergarten in Fredensborg and a nursery in Brønshøj. We have a diverse staff ranging from experienced colleagues with many years in the house to recently trained pedagogues, and in addition a department head in each department. This mix helps strengthen our professional environment and contributes to a culture characterized by collegial community and strong traditions such as our annual summer party in Fredensborg.

We are a self-owned day institution, which means we are not run by the municipality, but by a parent-elected board that also includes an employee representative. This gives us a high degree of freedom, a close parent collaboration and the flexibility to shape daily life and pedagogy to fit our particular group of children and our pedagogical values.

About the positions

• Department Head. Responsible for our outreach kindergarten together with Deputy Principal Morten and the principal Jan
• An obvious position if you would like to be a leader in the future.
• Co-responsible for schedule planning and holiday planning
• Co-responsible for organizing weekly plans and activities.
• Administrative tasks such as ensuring we are in place with fire safety, first aid, Aula communication and more
• The positions are in the outreach kindergarten, but we start in the nursery at Bellahøjvej and finish the day at the same place.

Practical

The nursery is located at Bellahøjvej 46 in Brønshøj and accommodates 44 children spread across four rooms. Here there are large common areas, a green playground and an electric cargo bike for outings.

The kindergarten is located in Fredensborg, where nature, a lake, forest and a castle form the daily framework. We have space for 44 children.

We travel from Bellahøj by bus at 08:15 every day and arrive in Fredensborg at 09:00. The bus returns on Monday and Friday at 14:30 and Tuesday to Thursday at 15:30
