At Neurocenter Bytoften you will be the leader of skilled and engaged staff who care about their profession, their departments and the house as a whole. They contribute every day to creating safe, meaningful and developmental frames for residents and citizens – and they expect a leader who is clear, present and decent.

You will be part of a well-established leadership team of six, where we work closely, share knowledge and actively use each other for sparring. We stand together on the daily tasks and the house’s strategic direction, and we place emphasis on trust, honesty and decency. There is room for both seriousness and humor, and we believe that good collegiality strengthens our shared leadership.

As department head you will have the daily leadership of two well-functioning smaller departments.

The position is available for occupancy from 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible.

You will work closely with the two coordinators in the departments and a duty planner. Together with the staff you will create a clear direction, good solutions and coherence in the tasks.

The residential community is a long-term housing offer for adults with mild to moderate acquired brain injury. Here residents are supported in creating a safe, meaningful and as independent daily life as possible based on individual needs, resources and goals.

The Activity Center is a day service for adults with acquired brain injury. The service is based on each citizen’s needs, resources and goals and focuses on meaningful activities, community, development and maintenance of skills.

• Has an eye for appropriate planning so that daily operations are solved in the best possible way within the economic framework
• Wants to contribute to strengthening Neurocenter Bytoften as one workplace where we help each other and take responsibility for the whole
• Is able to lead and motivate the staff, including conducting, among other things, performance interviews, sick leave and recruitment interviews
