We are seeking an AI & Technology Strategist who can see opportunities before they become projects.

You combine strong technical understanding with business understanding, customer dialogue and curiosity. You can enter an early conversation with a customer, understand what they are trying to achieve, challenge their initial idea and help shape a solution that both creates real value and can be built in practice.

It is a role for you who want to help create the work, not just take over when it is already sold.

About the role

More and more companies rethink both their technology landscape and how they build digital solutions. AI pushes the boundary of what small teams can deliver, and it also makes it even more important to understand the right problem, choose the right architecture and make good technical decisions.

As an AI & Technology Strategist you work very closely with our customers from the first conversations.

Sometimes it starts with a concrete challenge. Other times with a loose idea, a strategic ambition or a technology the customer would like to understand better. Your task is to help figure out where the real opportunity lies, and make it concrete.

You participate in client meetings, discovery, workshops, pitches and proposals. You can talk with both management, product owners and technical teams and translate between business goals and technological possibilities.

But the role doesn’t stop at strategy and slides.

You must have the technical depth to design the solution, challenge the architecture, build prototypes and work closely with our engineers to carry the ideas all the way to functioning products.

AI is both a part of what we help customers with and a fundamental part of how we work ourselves. We use AI and agent-based development to increase our capacity, test ideas faster and deliver more with smaller teams. Therefore we are looking for a profile who understands AI as more than a consulting topic.

You will

• Participate early in the dialogue with both new and existing customers and identify where technology and AI can create real business value
• Help develop customers and create new technology tasks across iO's competencies
• Play a central technical role in discovery, workshops, proposals and pitches
• Help customers move from challenge or idea to a concrete solution, roadmap or first delivery
• Challenge the customer's initial solution idea when there is a simpler or better path to the business goal
• Design solution architectures and evaluate trade-offs between, for example, build, buy and integrate
• Make new possibilities concrete through prototypes and proofs of concept
• Work hands-on with AI, software and modern development tools when it is the best way to move forward
• Actively use AI-assisted and agent-based development for analysis, prototyping, engineering and problem solving
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, designers, strategists and other specialists to realize solutions
• Follow important solutions from the first conversations to implementation and production
• Help develop our AI- and technology-offering and demonstrate to the market what we can do
