Due to staffing increase in citizen hours we are looking for a professionally strong pedagogical employee with experience with citizens with schizophrenia.

Altiden Smørumgaard is located on the outskirts of Smørum town on Zealand. Here we have space for 12 residents and we serve socially vulnerable people with severe mental and social difficulties, including possibly conviction for offenses against persons and substance abuse.

The residential facility is approved for adult residents on temporary or long-term stays pursuant to the Danish Social Service Act §107 and §108.

We work from an appreciative- and relational pedagogical approach with the methods Low Arousal and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

ADL tasks, part of daily care. No person goes through life without needing help and support at some point. This also applies to daily chores, and at Altiden Smørumgaard we are ready to provide the help needed. We know from experience that the most important thing we can give our residents is our time and our attention.

As our new colleague we expect

• That you are trained as a social educator, social worker, or have another professionally relevant education.
• That you have experience within the social-pedagogical sector and ideally also knowledge of schizophrenia.
• That you can engage in constructive dialogue with your colleagues and reflect on your own practice.
• That you have experience with daily pedagogical documentation and preferably the preparation of status reports to the municipality.
• That you can participate in cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• That you are a team player and loyal to agreements.
• That you can see pedagogical solutions rather than limitations.
• That you have an eye for citizen involvement.
• That you thrive with a shifting daily routine where there may be emotionally demanding high requirements in the work.

Further information

This is a permanent position of 37 hours with night shifts and longer day shifts in a fixed shift pattern with weekend and holiday on-call duties, where there is an opportunity for influence over the shift rotation.
