About the job

You will become part of an experienced anesthesia team, where we work closely with surgeons, operating room nurses, recovery staff and other colleagues at the hospital.

As an anesthesia nurse with us you will play a central role in the patient pathway – from reception and preparation for anesthesia to monitoring and handover after the operation. You meet patients who are often anxious or worried before a procedure, and your professionalism, calm and ability to establish contact are of great importance to their experience.

We have an informal tone and help each other when needed. There is room to ask questions, share experiences and discuss professional issues with colleagues who know the daily life in anesthesia. We value that one can work independently and actively participate in the community that keeps the day together.

• A permanent position of 32-37 hours per week
• Primarily day shifts Monday to Friday with occasional evening shifts
• A varied daily life with patients in, among others, orthopedic surgery, spinal surgery, urology and gastrointestinal surgery

About you

You are a trained anesthesia nurse and preferably have at least two years of experience. Experience from several surgical specialties is an advantage, but the most important is that you have a solid professional foundation and a desire to continue developing.
