Anesthesia nurse wanted for OR Orthopedic Surgery, AUH

Then you now have the chance to apply for a position as an anaesthesia nurse at the Orthopaedic Surgery Operating Department, OP North 2, B&O North.

We are looking for an anaesthesia nurse in a permanent 37-hour position with employment from January 1, 2027 or by agreement. We are 32 anaesthesia nurses, 5 Social and Health Care Assistants, 40 Operating Room Nurses, 12 anaesthesia specialists, and a fluctuating number of anaesthesia doctors and anaesthesia nurses in training. Our daily life is characterized by rotating shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts as well as long day shifts.

Daily we staff seven operating rooms with operations within Spine Surgery, Trauma, Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, Hip and Knee Surgery, as well as foot, reconstruction, infection, and tumor. We handle the emergency function, assisting with about 2600 acute calls per year, including medical and surgical acute calls for both children and adults.

These are calls such as ABC calls, cardiac arrest calls, trauma calls with severely injured patients from across the region, aortic calls, ear-nose-throat calls, as well as internal transport of acutely ill patients.
