Public health nurse with an eye for both children, families and communities

Do you want to help make a difference for children and families from the very first days with the newborn and through childhood and adolescence?

Then you now have the opportunity to become part of the Health Visiting Service in Høje-Taastrup Municipality.

We are seeking a health visitor for a permanent position of 37 hours per week with commencement on 1 January 2027.

A daily life close to children, young people and families

As a health visitor with us you will have a varied day, following families in the infancy and toddler years while also working with children and young people in the school-age group or as a consultant in day care institutions.

You will come close to children and families in many different life situations and have the opportunity to bring your entire profession into play. We operate in a combined arrangement, and it is therefore a prerequisite that you can handle both in-school and out-of-school examinations.

You will have great independence in planning your tasks, while being part of a strong professional community where sparring, knowledge sharing and joint solutions are a natural part of daily life.

Welcome to the Public Health Nursing

The Public Health Nursing is part of the Health Service, which also includes Høje-Taastrup Children’s Therapy.

You will become part of an engaged professional environment with 32 health visitors, a professional consultant and a manager. Every year we also have the pleasure of welcoming two health visitor students.

Høje-Taastrup Municipality has about 850 births per year, 48 day care institutions and approximately 7,000 schoolchildren spread across 11 municipal and 4 private schools. The municipality is characterized by great social and cultural diversity, which makes the work exciting, developmental and meaningful.

We are based at the Town Hall and work across the municipality’s three districts. You will have a bike available for tasks in the local area, and it is an advantage if you have a driving license.

• The job is a permanent position of 37 hours per week
• Commencement 1 January 2027
• Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement.
• In connection with the appointment, criminal and child protection checks as well as references will be obtained after agreement with you.
