Gudbjerg plejecenter seeks as of 1 November 2026 a social- and health care assistant for a permanent day shift of 37 hours and with weekend work every 2nd weekend. We are flexible if you have other wishes for your working hours.

Gudbjerg is a small and cozy care center, located in the middle of Gudbjerg town. The town is surrounded by scenic forests and fields. We have 26 units distributed across 7 dementia units, 16 care units and 1 elderly housing unit.

We have a close collaboration with the local community. We are so lucky that the care center has 6 friends attached, who come weekly and perform voluntary work.

In the midst of all the splendor we are only 10 km from Svendborg.

• wants to develop skills in working with citizens who have dementia and help develop colleagues within the dementia area.

• wants to work according to the new elderly law, which came into force on 1 July 2025, where we are in full swing with developing employees’ competences and self-coordinating teams.
• is good at de-escalating difficult conversations and incorporating knowledge that can enrich the good everyday life and the citizen’s self-determination.
• has good collaboration skills with other professional groups and the joy of lifting together.
• can perform the tasks within the assistant’s competence area and in close cooperation with the nurse and other assistants.

In Svendborg Municipality, the salary for this type of position typically lies between 36,205 and 46,820 DKK per month for full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday pay, and fixed allowances. There may also be shift allowances and other special pays.
