About the job

The position has been created as part of strengthening daily leadership and the continued development at Åløkkeparken.

As an assistant manager you will play a central role in everyday life, where you

• Actively participate in the management of daily operations
• Support the staff's well-being and professional development
• Help set direction and provide coherence in task execution

You will work closely with the home manager in a day-to-day environment characterized by sparring, learning and gradually increasing responsibility. You will also serve as deputy in case of absence.

The aim is for you to develop your leadership competences and gain experience in personnel management, operations and development.

Your tasks will include

• Contribute to stable and well-functioning daily operations
• Participate in planning and coordination of tasks and resources
• Contribute to shift planning within applicable frameworks and agreements
• Support implementation of political and organizational decisions
• Actively work on well-being among staff and residents
• Participate in staff conversations and follow-up, including sickness absence
• Support training programs for students in collaboration with internship supervisors
• Contribute to collaboration with relatives, civil society and volunteers
• Strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration around residents

About you

You are educated as a social and health care assistant or nurse and have experience from the elderly care sector.

About Plejehjemmet Åløkkeparken

Åløkkeparken is a nursing home with 48 apartments, of which 8 apartments are for residents with increased needs for structure, care and nursing. In addition, we have 6 respite places, which from January 1, 2027 will again be open all week.

At Åløkkeparken we have close cooperation with volunteers and an active nursing home council.

The nursing home is located in a scenic area in Brobyværk.

Terms of employment

• The position is 37 hours
• Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement
• Start date: February 1, 2027 or as soon as possible
