Assistant Manager for West Home Care and Nursing

Are you a social and health care assistant or a nurse and would you like to work with leadership? Then it might be you we are looking for.

As an assistant leader you will be part of the overall management of Frederikshavn West Home Care.

Your primary tasks will be

• planning the routes on Ingeborgvej
• recruitment and termination of hourly substitutes
• administrative management tasks in connection with hiring staff
• conducting well-being conversations
• together with the manager to take joint responsibility for the operation as well as the daily and professional leadership of the staff
• ensuring professional development at triage meetings and professional meetings
• in the manager's absence follow up on sickness absence, participate in relevant manager meetings and other managerial tasks
• in collaboration with the manager ensure and be available for operations on weekends, holidays and vacations
• other ad hoc tasks.

As an assistant leader

• you have leadership experience or a desire to try out your “inner” leader
• you always keep the core task at the centre
• you have a professional profile where the combination of theory and practice is reflected in your demeanor and the professional development of the health-related area.
• you work strategically in the short and long term and have a clear view of the balance between development and the organisation's ability and opportunities to implement initiatives – while maintaining “safe operation”.
• you are able to initiate and engage constructively in monodisciplinary, multidisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration to ensure appropriate cohesive citizen/patient care pathways.

Who are we?

Frederikshavn West Home Care covers the western part of Frederikshavn town centre and the housing on Ingeborgvej. There are 2 planners and a duty scheduler. We are around 80 employees distributed across the two teams. We work rehabilitatively to make our citizens as independent as possible. We have a very high level of professionalism and a really good culture, and we collaborate across the two teams.
