You will be part of the residents' everyday life

At Granhøjens Skæve Boliger in Odsherred we support adults who live in their own homes.

Most of our residents live independently and manage most things themselves. But some need support to create structure in daily life, maintain their employment, attend appointments or work on personal goals.

As a temporary worker you will become part of the effort.

You will go out to people in their own homes, where the relationship is important, but where the task primarily is to support the residents in living as independent a life as possible.

These are on-call shifts, where you step in when it fits with your life and our needs.

What does a shift look like?

Your tasks may include

• supporting residents in daily tasks such as shopping, activities and appointments - and in participating in their employment
• working with individual development goals in collaboration with the resident and the team
• supporting structure and predictability in daily life
• accompanying to meetings, medical visits and other important appointments
• documenting efforts and observations

You will of course be given a thorough introduction to the tasks, and you will not be alone with the responsibility.

You will be part of a team that helps each other

Although you work independently during your shifts, you will be part of a fixed team around the residents.

Here we brainstorm with each other, share experiences and help out when something is difficult.

No one expects you to know everything from day one.

In return, we expect you to be curious, to treat people with respect and to dare to ask for help.

Is this you we are looking for?

You do not necessarily need to have many years of experience.

The most important thing is that you want to work with people and can create calm and trust around you.

Furthermore, we would like you to

• have a pedagogical, social-pedagogical or health-pedagogical background - or be in education
• have an interest in people with psychiatric challenges
• can work independently and take responsibility in the situation

You must have a driving license (B)

If you have experience with §107- or §108-areas, that is a plus. Not a requirement.
